"Mycelium" CD by Manticora

Thrash, Prog, Power, Black, Death, pure heavy metal, and everything the metal heart desires, united in one Album - that is MANTICORA. The band, which started in 1997 (since then, nine Albums have been released), as a power metal band, has evolved and created their own unique style of heavy metal. They encompass everything that a true metal fan wants to hear. Welcome to 'Mycelium'.
After their magnificent and critically acclaimed two-Album concept from 2018/2020, plus a 334-page novel (written by the band's singer, Lars F. Larsen), on which the Albums were based, the Danes have toned it down a bit and written another majestic concept Album. This time with a total running time of 'only' 48 minutes.
'Mycelium' is less symphonic and takes a more furious, rougher path, with aggression at its core. Manticora has created a true DIY Album, with the only external influence being the mastering (done by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios). Everything else was produced by the band itself. From the concept to the lyrics, music, production, and artwork - Manticora did it all themselves. High-octane metal that is recommended only for the hardcore fans.
