"Night electric night" is like an almighty icy blizzard: melodic, atmospheric, yet dark and sexy. Whiplasher makes good and versatile use of his voice, female singing parts open the structure of the songs and some unique synthie sounds get you hooked. The album tells the story of one night, each song being a chapter of the story. Smashers like "Death dies hard" and "Night electric night" are real juggernauts, in contrast to thoughtful and calm "Via the end" which is inspired by the suicide of Jon Nödtveidt. "Night electric night" will also be available as a Gold Edition including 3 bonus tracks and a DVD (the film footage: six terrific clips and a funny making of section - a real gem). Be careful, you might get addicted - this is eerie, seductive, and lethal stuff...
