by Oliver Kube (08.10.2007) Nobody claimed that it would not be complicated to enter the world of Progressive Emo Rock. "No world for tomorrow" is the continuation of "From through the eyes of madness", the brilliant 2005-album of the New Yorker, Coheed And Cambria. The two records together represent the fourth and last part of "The armory wars"-saga that spans the whole career (and the records released) of the band so far, based on the SciFi-comic-series of frontmann Claudio Sanchez. After the departure of Josh Eppard, the new members, Chris Pennie (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Foo Fighters-drummer, Taylor Hawkins share the drummer's position. The new album appears less complex than its predecessors without being simple or dull. On the contrary: songs, like the driving forward "The running free" and the edgy Rock-hymn, "Gravemakers and gunslingers" immediately get a hook on you and still manage to persist over days. A fantastic and in every respect adequate final of the series.
