What’s even more: six years after the release of her last solo album, the notorious Hole songstress has eventually gotten round to drag herself out of that swamp and deliver a genuine Street’n’Roll thing! And she’s gotten mature, but not old - as proven on the tell-take songs like the first single "Skinny little bitch", "Letter to god", or "How dirty girls get clean (filthy vengeance)". Each track is a little confession, a brave and intense story about all the mistakes, mishaps and dirty secrets of a singing sex pot, musically hovering between mid-tempo Rock and silky ballad. An 11-step self-therapy, described by Mrs. Love herself: "It`s a long way back from where I`ve fallen from" (a quote from "Never go hungry"). Well, the first step has been taken -welcome back, Courtney.
