Nothing Compares To Metal' continues VELVET VIPER's concept with lyrics about classic, poetic, and mythical themes.

As on the first three albums of the band's new era, Jutta and Holger have composed all the songs together.

For VELVET VIPER, it is very important to make music that reflects the mentality and creative freedom of the band, because the world needs originals, not copies.

For the very first time, there is a song with German lyrics on the album, which is a personal statement from Jutta and can only be heard on the CD and digital version of the album.

All the songs on the album are around 5, 6, or 7 minutes long, because the band believes that the songs need enough space to unfold with their different parts and complex structures, and to create the drama that VELVET VIPER wants to convey with their music.

VELVET VIPER has chosen a natural old-school sound, with only a few small keyboard parts here and there, and they have tried to capture their live sound, which they love so much.

VELVET VIPER has been Touring and recording in the same lineup for several years, and this time they have really nailed their music style with powerful beats and great melodies.

The CD Digipak includes three additional songs that are not included on the limited Vinyl LP, including the band's first song in German.
