by Benedikt Niederschmid (29.09.2006) High energy Rock is what you've always got when Dry Kill Logic release a new album. Yet, when the band succeeded with "The darker side of nonsense", the Weirdo Metal throne was already occupied by a nine-piece psychopathic collective from Iowa. That hasn't changed to date and also "Of vengeance and violence" won't kick Slipknot off the throne. But Dry Kill Logic seems to cope with this circumstance and rather concentrate on their own thing. The band around singer Cliff Rigano incorporates all trademarks their fans have always loved in them: aggressive, fat riffs, powerful drums and a perfect sound. Most decisive feature remains the voice of Rigano, who sings like a young god and screams and grunts as if the devil himself is after him. The ensemble is really great and illustrates the consistency of heaviness and melody. This is matured, not dated!
