But the American band is a unicum anyway, not interested in petty bourgeois folks or those dwelling on the conventional. Once again, guitarist Benjamin Weinman and his boys are brimming with musical genius, resulting in a bizarre stylistic mix sounding like the collision of several apocalypses. The Chaoscore quintet acts swift and versatile, handling the challenging rhythms with ease - for the benefit of all compositions: said rhythms are the massive, common base which provides a minimum of necessary catchiness for their heavy, multi-faceted potpourri of hefty Metal, tricky Jazz parts, and icy Industrial noise - plus the Pop which is the frosting on the cake...
