by Andreas Reissnauer (10/02) Hell! Napalm Death have been around now for almost 20 years and haven't turned any quieter! The contrary is the case: "Order of the leech" is even a bit heavier than its predecessor and should be the most brutal album of the British ever. In almost every song, you get fast riff-lines and blastbeats, the vocals as well as the backings sound more aggressive and the production is beautifully rough and fat. Of course, the Briutish flagship was cunningly enough to incorporate enough mid-tempo parts to provide the necessary variation. Just like a little portion of Crust, like in the fierce "Narcoleptic". So, "Order of the leech" is quite variable. The average listener won't notice that, but the fans of the Birmingham boys will be delighted to hear this album loud, very loud!
