After the convincing success of the second album, "Wishmaster", and ì consequent extensive tours, Nightwish now release a nice intermediate album. ì This c.d. features a great cover version of the classic title-track plus two ì new songs ("Tenth man down" and "Away"), that stylistically set forth where ì the predecessor left off and that should please all fans. Additionally we ì get a re-recording of "Astral romance", that in my opinion would not have ì been necessary, plus a total of six songs that were recorded live. And this ì is where it becomes clear that Nightwish can absolutely convince also on ì stage and perform powerful and heavy alike. The opera-like vocals of front-ì lady Tarja may still be personal taste, but once fallen in love with that, ì you will have to hear this album. By the way: the album is also available on ì DVD.
