Beside their great musicality, the British cult band presents an unsurpassed visual spectacle in their live shows. Neither the Rolling Stones nor U2 get even close to the megalomania of light show, special effects and ingenious quadrophonic sound. The recordings for their double dvd, “Pulse“ derive from the last big Floyd tour in 1994 and were previously only available on video tape. Of course, the digital re-release of the legendary recording goes far beyond the content of the tape and presents masses of worthwhile bonus material, such as TV spots, backstage footage of this tour monster as well as some original films for their classic, “Dark side of the moon“, used by Pink Floyd during the shows in the 70s. Sums up to a thrilling, packed double-dvd of one of the best live bands in the world.
