The Swiss name Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Black Label Society as musical role models - and indeed their powerful rock sound is a mixture of all of the aforementioned. Pure Inc. already have released two top albums with "A new day’s dawn" and their debut "Pure Inc." (2004), and this third output marks the crucial strike. "Parasites & worms" bristles with energy and fun, it’s dirty, rough - just call it rock’n’roll! Above all, there’s Gianni Pontillo’s great voice: he’s got everything that it takes to be a real roarin’ rock singer. So, the quartet from Basel is on par with its fellow countrymen (Gotthard, Krokus and Shakra), and we get the proof that the best rock acts still hail from Switzerland. A timeless and utterly terrific piece of rock history.
