When they were under contract of Victory Records, they sounded like the usual Emocore pablum, and now they sound tougher, more brutal and more merciless than ever. Well, their fans have to decide wether that is good or bad, although I think that these modifications have been good for them - as proven on "Powersnake"! This EP can compete easily with the last releases of Hatebreed and Terror. A hefty production, gang shouts, mighty guitar work and off beats galore. It is telling that the boys have even done a cover of "Rather be dead" (Refused). But that’s not the only one: apart from four own songs, "Caboose" (Snapcase) and also "Not spiritual surrender" (Inside Out) could be found on "Powersnake". Congratulations, boys, this is a real chunk of Hardcore!
