Madison Square Garden, New York announces "Sold out!" after 20 minutes. During the show, 18 000 New Yorkers sing together with Till Lindemann: "Auf dem Lande, auf dem Meer - lauert das Verderben / Die Kreatur muss sterben." The US fans waited 10 years for this concert, and finally they had the chance to celebrate RAMMSTEINs return to the USA together with the band. The concert film "Live from Madison Square Garden" (2010) features the band's legendary live show. Hannes Rossacher's documentary "Rammstein in Amerika" is a unique journey, beginning in the summer of 1988 at a beach of the Baltic Sea in the GDR, following the band during their long and sometimes painful conquest of the American continent until the year 2001, their disillusioned farewell “Abschied von Amerika” after September 11, ending with the view on thousands of enthusiastic concertgoers in Madison Square Garden. RAMMSTEIN have checked their band archive for the documentary and have provided extensive, previously unreleased photo / film material. In many interviews led during different stages of their history, band members talk about their experiences on the other side of the Atlantic Sea. Old and new companions and well-known US colleagues have their say, offer kudos and anecdotes: Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Moby, CJ Ramone, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Iggy Pop, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), Marilyn Manson, Melissa Auf der Maur, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Jonathan Davis und Munky Shaffer of Korn, Shawn Crahan (Slipknot), actor Kiefer Sutherland („24“) and many more.
