11.Evil dead
by Eugen Legat (01/01) Merciless driven by their American temporary drummer Tony Laureano, God ì Dethroned fight their way as if the heavenly father would not long being ì pushed off his golden horse. An angry-scornful film-sample and the hell-like ì inferno can being. Beginning ast and brutal, the structure of the opener ì "Swallow the spikes" suddenly reveals an unexpected change and ends after ì the harmonic crafted solo-part and only indicates the main riff. Also "The ì poison apple" offers controversial elements, while "Villa vampiria" should ì become a highlight during the concerts delivering throttled tempo and a ì catchy refrain. A true declaration for Death Metal is hidden not only in the ì saw shaven version of "Evil dead" but also in the dusted and re-arranged ì Macabre End Song. Together with the beginning of "The iconoclast deathride" ì reminding me strongly of Gehenna, the resting pole in this battle scene. ì (Eugen Legat 01/01)
