by Markus Eck (03.02.2009) 1995, these Swedes with their unspectacular band name did their first musical steps - and became a token of world-class Heavy Metal in the course of the years. Now, Örebrö’s finest, led by their exceptional guitarist Johannes "Axeman" Losbäck, present us with their new studio album. Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson etc.) did a great job producing this release: "Ravenous" has a wonderful, incredibly clout to it. Many blokes in many bands on this planet would give their right arms for such an amount of talent, devotion, and versatility... On their fifth studio output, all participants gave their best - as you could expect from these professionals. Traditional timeless genuine Heavy Metal with dynamic guitars always has a huge fan community, so Wolf once again will have an overwhelming success with this great material among their following. Their 2006 album was a real smasher, and "Ravenous" follows its footsteps - inevitably.
