The fourth longplayer "Results may vary" surprised me more and more positively. As the knell "Eat you alive" sounded pretty experimental and not as catchy as e.g. "Break stuff" or "Take a look around", I discover more and more gems among the 16 tracks on the new album. After all the rumours about Fred Durst and friends, the new line-up and the suitability of Mike Smith as surrogate for Wes Borland you finally get new, creative top outputs with the necessary Limp Bizkit heavyness. Let's start with the song "Gimme the mic": the aggressive guitar riffing we are used to, catchy hooklines...just perfect for all the Bizkids out there. I don't want to take this too far. The coversong "Behind Blue Eyes" makes sure that Durst cannot reach vocal levels as Colin Dawson (ex Vocals - The Who) but "Results may vary" is a surprisingly competitive piece of Nu metal.
The limited edition contains a DVD with live and party cutscenes from the Limp Bizkit tour.
