by Lisa Hofer (18.01.2008) Carried by soft melodies and powerful choirs, assisted by powerful riffs and great harmonies, you enter new land by "Reversing time". Behind this formation you have the Turkish Progressive/Power Metal-combo, Dreamtone in collaboration with the Greek singer, Iris Mavraki, which alone would be enough for both easy and timeless hymns, but not enough of that. A full row of known singers lend their voice to Neverland, such as Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian fame in "To loose the Sun" which by his assistance turns into a real jewel. Also Tom Englund of Evergrey as well as Mike Baker and Gary Wehrkamp of Shadow Gallery guest on the album. "Reversing time" is a variable epic, calm passages, like in the ballad-like "Everlasting tranquillity" go hand in hand with melodic giants, like "Mountain of joy" making sure that this album won't become boring too soon. All participants have been in the business for quite a while and know the rules: this debut leaves nothing left to be desired.
