by Benedikt Niederschmid (07/01) The multi-culture troop Ill Nino is extremely loud and aggressive - and a guarantee for quality. Because the band consists of musicians from Brazil and New Jersey. Amongst others, we find the ex-Pro-Pain-drummer Dave Chavarri, who before Ill Nino assisted in Cavalera's Soulfly and after these duties developed his own visions. To get a powerful band together was his dream. A percussionist is included to transform the Brazilian influences adequately. n. Und da er dieser Idee Taten folgen lieá, ist das fertige Produkt "Revolution revolucion" is an absolute hammer, each song a slap in the face and all heaviness is loosened up by sunny traditional-intermezzos. Accompanying this blend of heavy Metal, fluffy Magherita-drums and Samba guitars is singer Christian Machado with a far split between deep growls and clean, very melodic vocals - a good job by the way! This album is like ascending to heaven and get beaten by Peter.
