by Oliver Kube (10.04.2006) Supported by Prong-mastermind Tommy Victor on guitar and Killing Joke-bass player, Paul Raven, Al Jourgensen delivers the both heaviest and best Ministry-album since the megaseller “Psalm 69“ (1992). While he lyrically still deals with president Bush, his politics and the results for America and the rest of the world in a highly eloquent way, the compositions finally show real consistency again. At the same time, the Ministry industrial noise hasn't sounded this tight and powerful in a long time. Already in the fat grooving title track, the pace is screwed up to an incredible level that is kept through until it is reduced a bit for the Prong-like “Gangreen“. Absolute highlight of the album is the edgy “Ass clown“, in which Dead Kennedys' frontman, Jello Biafra comes in, as well as by its Arabic female vocals strongly Killing Joke-reminiscent “Khyber pass“. “Rio Grande blood“ is a true hitter!
