Two years after the mega-flop "Return Of Saturn" No Doubt return ì completely renewed: what used to be mainstream-boredom and deep pathos is ì blown away. No tedious "Don't Speak"-copies (useless, anyway) but a unique, catchy sound. Gwen Stefani's duets with Eve and Moby but also the merit of well-known guests like Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), The Neptunes, Sly & Robbie, ì Ric Ocasek, Prince or Nellee Hooper add a fresh portion of rhythm ì and groove to the quartet from Orange County - witty arrangements and funny ì 80s-elements that make the 12 songs a true listening pleasure. Especially, ì because we further get a lot of HipHop, Disco, Dancehall and Reggae - sound ì elements that make the No Doubt-cosmos even more colourful and happier.
