by Holger (null) In the USA Live already advanced to being megasellers. In Europe the guys did a big step in the right direction with "Throwing copper". And now their new album "Secret samadhi" has crossed the big lake and hit Europe. At first contact I had some problems with the new material (just like I did with the stuff on "Throwing copper") but after several tries I could finally give in to the pleasures of "Secret samadhi". Great tempo variations and little surprises make the album resistent to boredom. And no more comparisions with R.E.M. since the boys have become a lot heavier and frontman Ed Kowalczyk provides the necessary kick. An emotional roller-coaster!
