From the symphonic and choir-laden 'Magellan's Expedition,' which tells the story of Ferdinand Magellan's historic circumnavigation in 1522, to the captivating anthem 'Under Blackened Banners,' featuring intense technical riffing and exquisite guitar duels, 'Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum' is a tribute to the band's beginnings with Captain Morgan's Revenge. But fans of the modern ALESTORM sound will also get their fill - party vibes are guaranteed in the aptly named future hit 'P.A.R.T.Y.,' including an absolute catchy chorus, as well as the insane high-speed folk metal banger 'Cannonball,' featuring the most outrageous and offensive lyrics you've ever heard in a pirate metal song (making 'Fucked With An Anchor' sound tame in comparison).
Once again, the band is supported by a whole host of guest musicians, including Patty Gurdy's hurdy-gurdy, Captain Yarrface's vocals from Rumahoy, Ally Storch's violin from Subway To Sally, majestic choirs from Hellscore, as well as some well-known Spanish and Japanese singers in the final part of the 'Wooden Leg' saga. But most importantly, there is an absolute world premiere: for the first time ever, a fried egg is used as an instrument in a metal song - skillfully played by Matt Cockram. But that's not all! As a special treat for die-hard collectors, some special editions include a complete acoustic version of the entire album, and there is even a legendary version of the album FOR DOGS!
