After the great debut-ep, "West for wishing" with its 5 songs that really made ì you long for more the band around front man Andrew Jordan (discovered by the ì Epitaph-chief, Brett Gurewitz himself) now presents their ì first full-length-album. That the term "Emo-Core" (FINCH, THRICE & Co. ì send their greetings) would perfectly fit the boys was already audible on the last ì Epitaph-sampler to which they contributed "The greatest fall (of ì all time)" which is also contained as a bonus track on "Stories and alibis". ì The interaction of catchy melodies and passionate screaming resultsì in a mixture filled with melancholy and desperation, which deservesì the name Emo-Core. Beside "Promise" and "She'll never understand" the obligatory ballad "Tiger Lily" also is a highly valued track. The rest of the material takes one or two sessions until they clinge to your ears.
