by Markus Eck (20.04.2009) In 2001, Swedish Medieval Folk outfit Rimmerfors, consisting of a pair of brothers, and some members of a Metal band named Pathos, merged. All musicians know each other since their diaper days - and somehow, this transpires on the new Fejd studio album "Storm": the result of the interesting symbiosis of the two original styles is a remarkably subtle and beautiful Nordic Folk Metal release, a genuine piece of art. The better part of the thougthful compositions on "Storm" sounds contemplative, lost in reverie and romantic, distancing Fejd from any simple party mood, but nevertheless being not sad or depressing at all. The media will compare them to bands such as Garmarna or Hedningarna which may be indeed justified.
