by Jürgen Tschamler (20.04.2009) Eat The Gun are one of those indestructible German bands who don't give a damn about the whole music biz and just do their thing. Established record companies: Naah. Musical compromises: fuck it. A certain style: forget it. Even in our digital days, there should be bands like them: handmade music, a view and an opinion sharpened by many live shows - that influences a combo... Besides - Eat The Gun's self-confidence is justified: compared to the older stuff, their style has changed a bit, but they're still at it in a timeless and no-trends way. What you get is basically modern Heavy Metal, Rock'n'Roll hovering between Skid Row, Ugly Kid Joe, Boozed, and Gluecifer - all drenched with blood, sweat and tears. "Super pursuit mode aggressive thrash distortion" is an unpredictable Rock bastard knowing only one direction: forward. This is no-cliché Power Rock'n'Roll by uncompromising blokes. Viva la insane.
