by Markus Eck (24.07.2009) Stalwart fans of Ektomorf should really check out this hell of a record. These four youngsters (who have already played more than 150 gigs) are very ambitious - and deliver the goods confident and competent. Apart from the almost inhuman vocal eruptions, the extraordinarily versatile drum work of Louis Weber is striking and adds yet another facet to their brutal Metalcore barrage. This bloke is a prodigy, phew! Regarding compositions, the agile four have worked their butts off for this new album with the apt title "Tear down your fears". Kudos to them for the rough, powerful and dynamic overall sound, too. The band produced the album themselves, Alexander Dietz (well-known due to his work with popular German 'core boys Heaven Shall Burn) did the mixing and mastering.
