Hammers of Misfortune from San Francisco were called Unholy Cadaver first.. In 2001, Mike Scalzi and John Cobbett (Slough Feg) presented their album „The Bastard“ as debut. The usually short songs feature a mixture of Folk, NWOBHM and Death/Black Metal.
