Then he returned to Germany and since then experienced a fountain of youth. Roth is permanently on the road, successfully toured America and plays Europe again in November. Accompanying that, his label releases a best of album - the first of the ex-Scorpions guitarist, by the way - and nourishes the anticipation for the next studio album. On two packed CDs, "The best of Uli Jon Roth" compiles the years from 1980 to 2003, more than two decades that Roth stamped with Progressive Rock and classic pieces. In fact, the Hannover-born has the reputation to be the only guitarist beside Malmsteen who combines Metal and Classic in such a unique way.
