Pessimism can be so beautiful: The German nautic doomsters from AHAB created not only their own subgenre, but deliver inimitable gloom! Now AHAB ist back with their newest masterpiece "The boats of the Glen Carrig". The title of the album is taken from the novel of William Hope Hodgson from 1907 about the fight for survival after a shipwrecking: The cold embrace of the sea and the psychedelic journey is about weed monsters and sea creatures. Since their beginning in 2004, the 4-piece continuously rose to fame in the context of (Funeral) Doom, and now their are sailing towards the top of the genre and beyond!
