'It is a direct continuation of the previous album,' says Norrman. 'Less doom and more death metal, but still melodic and with more layers. I sought inspiration in records I listened to during the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. But it still sounds like October Tide.' The sound of October Tide is not only intertwined with doom-laden melodeath but is also accompanied by emotionally captivating guitar work that is known to delve into melancholic and introspective tones.
