by Benedikt Niederschmid (08/01) Aggression, pain and a bucket full of insults - Dry Kill Logic from New York reveal their fiercest side. And hey - the result is astounding, "The darker side ..." offers great Pogo-music made for best slam dance as well as putting your fist into your mouth. But that's about all that Dry Kill Logic could be proud of. Because this unspectacular New Metal-copy ain't really exciting. The band philosophies about lies, strange mental deficits and really great Pogos. I burst into tears. But that ain't funny. Musically, too, Dry Kill Logic don't really hit the ground, the guitar-sound is muddy and the edgy drums can't change it either. Only shouter Cliff Rigano is doing a good job and is responsible for the few good moments on this album.
