On "The Last Alliance", they strut their stuff and present their trademarks close to perfection. Dreamy and melodious keyboard sounds and rough Metal guitars are skillfully intertwined - as a result, you get catchy songs which nevertheless don’t lack detail. Intoxicating as usual: the exchange of brutal Uruk-Hai screams and clear female vocals (Tomi Mykkänen resp. Kaisa Jouhki). Legendary Dan Swanö did the mix - he found the fitting sound for Battlelore’s new anthems. A real gem: the limited first edition of "The Last Alliance". Driving whips, stomping rhythms, ork bellowing and singing elves: this album is a brilliant piece of Epic Fantasy Metal - don’t miss it!
