Excellent Service

The excellent musicians from Göteborg, alternating between European Power Metal and partly symphonic Prog on their seventh album, are far from sounding „Torn“, although this is the last album before drastic changes with regard to their line-up were made.

Their intelligent Dark Melodic Metal features compositorial skills, a distinct own style and a surprising versatility. The songs of the Swedes are never one-dimensional or predictable, yet at the same time accessible and based on a clear concept. Evergrey have been competent and confident musicians for over a decade - and they are as convincing on their new album "Torn" which will be released on Steamhammer/SPV in September 2008: energetic, powerful, intoxicating.
