A little hard Guitarrock, a little Darkwave, a pinch of New Romantic and very much charts-compatibility connect on "Until there`s nothing left of us".

by Jürgen Tschamler (23.04.2008) Chicago has a quite creative scene and many top acts come from the area of the windy city. Just like the guys of Kill Hannah. In Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Milkey Way of My Chemical Romance, the five youngsters have already popular supporters. Their first album was released in 2003 and instantly saw them put into the New Romantic corner, comparisons with The Cure were often. A bit of heavy guitar Rock, a bit of Dark Wave, some bits of New Romantic and lots of chart compatibility was also combined on "Until there`s nothing left of us". The nasal vocal style of Mat Devine will drive true rock fans to madness, the sugar sweet melodies are the absolute horror for Metal fans and the high concentration of hits on the album literally screams for a million – predominantly 13-19 year-old, female – fans. Despite all prejudices, I can only state that the songs are perfectly produced, the performance is awesome and the melodies have an enormous long-time effect.
