by Markus Eck (29.01.2009) Since 2003, these Norwegian wackheads have been fooling around, amusing us with Humppa Viking Folk Metal - latest coup: "Villanden", their new album. Strange song titles à la "Wo bin ich jetz aufgewacht?", "Der JegerMeister", or "Der Uhr ist skandaløst schändlich" are tokens for the comedic charisma of the Scandinavian barfly quartet. But all this nonsense doesn't hide the fact that these blokes are brilliant musicians who master their instruments and the art of harmony. The bizarros have composed new tracks which are full of various influences from traditional Metal basics, innovative and progressive parts, to extremely peppy folklore, all spiced with a surprising plethora of melodies - an endless universe of creativity!
