Product description

Stylisticly Heavenly goes in the direction of really old Helloween, Gamma Ray and Primal Fear and connect that with sovereign keyboards. Phat, tight but melodic Power Metal of great class.

by Jürgen Tschamler (18.12.2006) Heavenly release their fourth album. The French have often been smiled at sceptically in the beginning but at the latest since the 2004-album, "Dust to dust" you have to accept that these guys convince with good sales figures and first-class live performances. On their latest album they stick to what they're best at, that is bombastic Power Metal with some fine keyboard- and guitar solos. Ben Sotto has finally said good-bye to the all too high screams and appears much more powerful. The direction is, like mentioned, very early Helloween, Gamma Ray and some Primal Fear. Great, phat power tracks with a lot of melodies may not be spectacular these days but the Heavenly guys enrich these factors with tension, finesse and great song writing. The ten tracks convince all through and that is something that you can say about only very few records in this genre these days. A surprisingly high value and expressive Power Metal album!
