"Winterborn" unites various oppositions as Saukkonen manages to combine black / death metal, atmospheric doom and acoustic, fragile sounds which always show a glimmer of hope. After Wolfheart sold their debut album by themselves on a small D2C base in Finland in 2012, Spinefarm will now release this amazing music again, completed by two bonus tracks. Just like the frozen winter landscapes of Finland, each brutal, cold tone got its beautiful and fine moments.
