The Swiss exist since 1998 and had already several releases on small underground labels but the turn towards the public will only come with this new release on Metal Blade Records. And it's time for it I shall say for "With triumph comes loss" presents a matured band that knows where it wants to go. The 11 songs, settled somewhere between Thrash/Death Metal and Hardcore sound like one unit: very precise riffing, Dave Lombardo-kind of drumming and an aggressive but yet very variable voice adding a unique note to the quite complex arrangements, such as "Killing tool". Further refinement is added to the album by the excellent production of Tue Masden's, the sound comes across ultra-brutal, very voluminous and yet somehow individually cut for this band. If you can imagine a sophisticated mixture of Sepultura and Slayer with some hardcore attitudes you should check out "With triumph comes loss" immediately!
