Texas Terri is the thrash queen of Punk'n'Roll. Her image of sex, arrogance and Rock'n'Roll gave her a cult status. She began under the name of Texas Terri and The Stiff Ones before she simply renamed Texas Terri Bomb! On "Your lips...my ass" she invited some famous names accompanying her through her sound cosmos. Like Wayne Kramer (MC 5), Dave Teague (Dickies), Marc Diamond (Dwarves/Motorchrist) to name but a few. Not to forget Cherie Currie. The ex-front lady of the Runaways. With her, she performs a quite trashy version of the Thin Lizzy classic, "The rocker". For the rest, I'd file Texas Terri musically somewhere between Iggy Pop and The Stooges, The Sex Pistols and GG Allin. Live in concert this lady is extremely wild and weird - so watch out for the upcoming tour! I personally like most when she really rocks it, like in "Strike", "Dream Wrecker", the extremely great "Mafia" or the absolute shitkicker, "Love hates me". What a song! If you're looking for Rock'n'Roll offside the usual clichés, get yourself "Your lips...my ass!"! (Jürgen Tschamler - April 2004)
