With "Ypll" the South Californian Noise- and Punk band Retox debuted on the label Epitaph. Retox consists of scene-known musicians from Los Angeles and San Diego. Singer and front man Justin Pearson plays with the cult band The Locust. Friends of the band are among others Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), who plays the guitar on the track "Congratulations, You Are Good Enough", and Mike Patton (Faith No More), who once discovered the band for his label Ipecac. Musically Retox follow the Noise-roots of the band members, but they don't lose sight of Hardcore- and Punk-classics like Black Flag, PIL and Dead Kennedys. For fans of Fucked Up, Celebration, OFF! and The Locust.
