by Andreas Reissnauer (30.01.2008) Just in time for Valantine's, Type O Negative's last album is being re-released in a beautiful, red-coloured digipack. "Dead again", originally released in 2007, was the comeback album that so many fans of the New Yorkers had been waiting for. Gothic hits, like "Profits of doom" and "Halloween in Heaven" satisfied the young listeners while Type O Negative veterans gloated over epic songs, like "These three things" and "She burned me down". The following European tour may not have fallen on undivided common consent but that doesn't reduce the quality of the album. Especially, because with this re-release, everybody can make up his own mind about the live qualities of the band: the bonus DVD contains a 30-minute recording from the Wacken Open Air 2007, accompanied by the video clips for "September Sun" and "The profits of doom" as well as a 15-minute interview. If you cannot call this album your own, yet, you should check out this ultimate edition.
