by Markus Wosgien (05.10.2006) The French band around the two song writers Philippe Giordana (keyboards) and the ex-Heavenly guitarist Anthony Parker deliver a majestic, highly imaginative opus on which we also hear the new member Max Leclerqc (also Magic Kingdom) on microphone for the first time, who turns out to be the exactly right choice. The 13 tracks burst for bombast and pathos and consequently not seldom are reminiscent of Rhapsody (Of Fire) and Blind Guardian, who beside Symphony X and Sonata Arctica are among the favourite acts of the young musicians. Keyboards and choirs dominate the picture as well as beautifully melodic and catchy riffs. Despite the progressive and virtuoso elements, the songs remain anthemnic and catchy. All fits perfectly together and each of the songs soon turns out to be an absolute highlight, recommendable for fans of the above mentioned acts.
