‘Sticky Fingers: Live At The Fonda Theatre 2015’ is the fifth release from a series of live recordings straight out of the Stones archive that are slowly being released for the first time. This fantastic collection contains classics like ‘Brown Sugar’, ‘Wild Horses’, ‘Start Me Up’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘Bitch’, ‘Dead Flowers’, ‘When The Whip Comes Down’, and more.
This particular instalment of the acclaimed ‘From The Vault’ series presents a really unique event in the long and turbulent history of the Rolling Stones: On 20 May 2015, the band played their Sticky Fingers album live and in its entirety at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, California for the first and, so far, only time. The show took place to mark the re-issue of ‘Sticky Fingers’ and was also the opening concert for their two-month ‘Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour’ through North America. The intimate atmosphere in the Fonda Theatre was a glaring contrast to the giant stadiums they played on the rest of the tour, and must have been a really special evening for those lucky enough to get tickets. The DVD & Blu-ray contains interviews with the band members interspersed between the live material. The CD or triple LP version features the complete performance. There are also a few bonus tracks from the concert film on the DVD and Blu-ray: ‘All Down The Line’, ‘When The Whip Comes Down’, ‘I Can’t Turn You Loose’.
