by Marcel Anders (null) No matter, what paper you open up, which music channel you watch or listen to - there is no way getting by this 17-year-old Canadian from the small city Napanee. For a good reason: The almost 1,56m small girl convinces with the smart Skater outfit, with earthy Rock songs and angry lyrics in which she writes about her experiences with the other sex. Which let her come to two conclusions: a) being a girl is not easy, and b) girls are not always honest with their feelings. Not that these conclusions would be new whatsoever, but the way, she sings about them is, definitely. Because, this is no hurt, shy little girl wallowing in esoteric and femininity, but a juvenile, tough soul that shouts out her compensated frustration. And all that in charming songs, like "Complicated", "Losing Grip" or "Sk8er boi". The big album of a small lady.
