Vocalist Tim McIlrath, bass player Joe Principe, drummer Brandon Barnes and guitar player Zach Blair have been known for clear messages since years, songs that express at the same time personal and political views. In the course of their career, the four Rise Against members have constantly given food for thought by presenting lyrics that are not simply easy to sing along refrains - and German fans have expressed their thanks with Gold awards for the last three albums. Now the time has come for a special album. The compilation “Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers” contains great songs of their 13 years of career that have not been available so far. „We've been proud of each of our six albums in the past years”, explains vocalist Tim McIlrath, „We are equally proud of these 26 songs that have never achieved to be part of an album, just because we thought that we'd better save them up for the next one.”
