by Patrick Schmidt (null) Holy shit! I guess there isn't another black metal album in the world which has been more desperately awaited than the new album of the Norwegian chartbreakers. "Spiritual black..." is courageous, creative and still rooted to black metal. In the most devistating inferno ("Reptile") you'll suddenly hear clean vocals and Mystis' keyboards create such a scary atmosphere I have never before experienced in a style as hard as this ("United in unhallow grace"). In addition to that the perfect Tägtren production does the rest. This album almost glows of dark magic and is as far away from mainstream as the Sudan is from winning a world cupsoccer tournament!
