To delight in „Z2“ is like diving into the mysterious creases of the Devin Townsend Project catalogue and mix with the layers bludgeoning down heaviness and angelic melodies that dwell beneath the cathedral of Devin's thoughtful solo visions. A highlight on the new release is the 'Universal Choir'. There was a website designed, on which the fans could upload their own vocal recordings of parts of the album. Then these files were taken and assembled into a 2000 people strong "fan choir".
