Accessories

The gothic outfit is given the right finishing touch by matching accessories. These gothic accessories are of course as different as possible from those of the mainstream and much more sombre. Of course, accessories are also used in the black scene to make a statement. This works especially well with buttons, of course, which usually adorn the characteristic black Bundeswehr bags in heaps. The wavers and batcavers in particular love them on blazers and jackets. Band buttons are just as popular as slogan buttons. Buttons are sold as merchandise at many black scene concerts. It is the same with patches. In most cases, the patches have a musical background and are sewn onto blazers, jackets and bags. Here, too, the wavers and batcavers are in the lead. The black romantics and the goths like brooches and chokers more. The latter can be decorated with a Gothic motif.

Gloves, walking stick and fan should not be missing either. The parasol is also an integral part of the black romantic's outfit. However, a pagoda parasol is used instead of a simple umbrella. The latest accessory in the Gothic box is horns, which are worn on the head in all shapes. The male black romantic, however, prefers the top hat. Steampunks get particularly creative when it comes to headgear and wear hats with strange machines and machine parts. Gruftis occasionally make use of a veil.
