Aggretsuko is a Japanese anime web series that was created for the mascot company Sanrio. The character first appeared in a series of anime shorts, which aired in Tokyo in April 2016 and was picked up and launched by Netflix in 2018. Since then a mobile game has been released and a comic book series is currently in production.
