In March 1960, the group – which counted Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman among its members, as well as Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter - appeared for the first time.

Justice League: A quick-witted team – Not just in the comic-book world

After their first appearance in the 28th edition of the series “The Brave and the Bold”, the superheroes got their own comic at the end of 1960. However the volume “Crisis on Infinite Earths” released in the 1980s gave the story a retrospective re-write. Up to this point, it was Black Canary not Wonder Woman who was one of the founding members – and in fact DC often played with the story and made other changes. When all the comic series were restarted in 2011, many of the storylines within the DC Universe were updated yet again. Since then, loads more Justice League fan products have also been released.
